The shepherd’s hut at Humblescough Farm is nestled in a quiet corner of the caravan site and overlooks a wildlife pond. You can enjoy the lovely views of the Bowland Fells and watch over the sheep which are usually grazing in the fields. The hand-built hut has electricity and water. Inside you will find all you need for a comfortable stay. There is a fixed bed, a folding table with two chairs, along with a kitchen area which has a sink and basic cooking facilities. There is also a bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and electric towel radiator. Storage is available in a tall cupboard and in the large drawers under the bed.
The covered outdoor area is located next to the hut.
Chairs are available for outdoor seating.
If you enjoy sitting outside in the evenings by a campfire, there is the option of hiring a fire pit (we provide a bag of wood, kindling and a firelighter). This costs £8 per night. We ask guests not to bring their own fire pits and wood. This is for our site insurance as well as health and safety reasons.
There are two options available for your stay:
£65 per night
We provide towels, tea towel, mattress protector and base sheet.
£75 per night
We provide towels, tea towel, and all bedding, including duvet and pillows.
Arrivals are from 2pm onwards. Departures by 11am.
The key is located in the key safe in the outdoor kitchen area – we will text the keypad number to you.
Next to the Shepherd’s hut there is an outdoor seating and cooking area. A barbecue and pack of charcoal is provided – along with foil trays and barbecue implements. These are in the storage box. If you need more charcoal we can provide this for £5 per pack.
PAYMENT CAN BE MADE BY BANK TRANSFER OR BY CHEQUE.
In between bookings the hut will be deep cleaned and surfaces sanitised. All crockery and cutlery will be washed.
For the safety of guests most toiletries will be provided in individual sachets. Tea bags, coffee portions and sugar portions are individually wrapped.
The bedding, towels and tea towels will be laundered at a high temperature.
